“In July we took delivery of our new design/build custom home by JDW Construction, LLC.  Working with JDW, Joyce and Doug, was a wonderful experience from the direction they gave on the architect, to the positioning of the house on the property and throughout the construction phase.  Doug’s attention to detail was exactly what we were expecting.  Sometimes things look good on paper and then there is realty in the field.  Whenever there was something that needed to be addressed, Doug took the time to call, discuss via phone or on-site to ensure we were happy with any modifications needed. Throughout the work Doug managed all the sub-contractors very well and ensured at the end of the day the worksite was clean and ready for the next day’s activities. In working with Joyce with the interior finishing was also a great experience. Joyce pointed us to the cabinet vendors, carpet, granite, tile, hardwood, lighting and even the siding and shingle distributors. Joyce provided the guidance we needed which was a tremendous help in our decision making.

Our experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. This is truly a rare experience in today’s construction world. We would highly recommend them if we were to start all over again!”

“One afternoon in late May of 2019 we were out looking at new home sites in Culpeper when we saw what looked like the perfect house along Route 15, and as we passed it, we saw another house being built right behind it. My husband suggested we stop because someone was working there.
