Our first Kalyce model will always have special significance to us since it was the first home we built as JDW Construction. It was quite an undertaking too! We did a lot of the work ourselves and poured our heart and soul into this home. Thankfully, the purchasers fell in love with the home and the design touches we incorporated. Since it was our first project, we added quite a few upgrades such as the gorgeous wrought iron railing in the upper level loft area, the stained/painted oak staircase, the farm sink in the kitchen, upgraded tile in the bathrooms, and the specialty frosted glass pantry door, which has now become a staple in each of our homes (along with the laundry door).
